BL5782 AR ECP – Flat bar lever keypad with internal push/pull pad & 1 1/8″ ali latch
The BL5782 AR ECP is a medium to heavy-duty lock from the BL5000 ECP series, featuring a fully clutched, flat bar handle and a key override built into the handle itself. This model is equipped with an internal push/pull pad for easy exit and a 1 1/8″ ali latch, making it ideal for narrow stile aluminum, wood, or steel doors. It also includes the “on the door” Easicode Pro (ECP) code change system and an optional free passage mode.
Description
The BL5700 ECP series provides a medium to heavy-duty lock solution for applications where lighter-duty locks are not sufficient. This lock features a fully clutched round bar handle and a built-in key override within the handle for master access.
This model incorporates the patented Easicode Pro (ECP) coding chamber, allowing for a quick “on the door” code change process. This unique feature eliminates the 10-15 minutes of hassle and removes any risk of damage from a faulty code change. The BL5782 ECP is specifically designed with an internal push/pull pad, ideal for situations requiring a fast and easy exit.
An optional free passage mode is available, which enables a bypass of the coding chamber to allow entry without a code. This variation is fitted with a 1 1/8″ ‘Ali’ latch, perfect for doors with a narrow stile where a larger latch won’t fit. It is suitable for internal and sheltered external use on wooden, composite, aluminum, and steel doors.
